Goldy has tight compact growth and the some of the best gold over green color of any of the Western Arborvitae. The great orange highlights that show up in the cold weather add to the winter garden.
This form will grows into a large conical shrub. Excellent alone or in groups.
Makes 12" per year in growth, eventually reaching 15' to 20' in maturity. I did find that it bent over a lot in the snow, so be aware of the problem with heavy snow and you might want to protect. This plant is also more deer resistant than other arborvitae forms. For best color and growth habit give full sun and evenly water throughout the summer months.
