I have some packages of flower seeds that were given to me. Some annuals some perennial.
The way the weather has been I'm not sure when I can plant them now.
My question is (and it may seem silly) but can seeds be put into the freezer until next spring?

I'm starting to find many tiny black insects with wings less than a millimeter is size on the shaded parts of the leaves on my tomato plants, along with the stems. Where the bugs are present, tearing of the leaves in present as well.
Does anyone know what kind of bugs these are and how to treat them? I live in the Toronto area (Canada).
Here are the pictures of the bugs: http://www.flickr.com/photos/grant2010/
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Grant

Last weekI bought the earth machine compost maker. My Husband put it together today (finally sun)and we put in an easy spot to use. I Had a bucket and 1/2 or so of kitchen stuff and now we are on our way.I can't believe the stuff I can compost. I have always hated putting veg.fruit egg shells etc into the rubbish. NOT ANY MORE !! I can even put the coffee grindes ,filter in also!!! You are never too old to change your ways.
