Pictures Of Bluestone In Use
A picture (or two) really is worth a thousand words. I found some great pictures of bluestone in use that I thought might be helpful.
This first one seen below I really do not like. I think the mix of the brick and the bluestone so close together does not work at all. Al
so I think the linear brick next to the kidney shaped patio of bluestone is not restful. Its almost like the homeowner could not choose so they went with both instead.
This next image I love. Notice how well the wall behind ties into the entire design. Also the colors of the stone really pick up on the natural woodland setting behind the house. I imagine there will be a woodland garden back there and that will soften the entire picture further.
Finally, take a look at this beauty. Notice how the entire color palette flows together. You feel restful looking at this. The lights are a great touch as well and I can just imagine standing around on a warm summer night having cocktails and good food with friends.
