upright than wide. Plant in full-part sun and give adequate moisture especially the first couple of years. You may find that Betty will rebloom for you in the summer which is an added bonus to this great plant. In early fall the dark green leaves will stand out in the changing landscape.
Magnolia prefer some protection from windy spots and will perform best in slightly acidic soil.
Betty will bloom in Mid-April, one of the earlier bloomers. A late hard freeze can damage the blooms.
